Meet the Doctor
Dr. Yejong Chung, D.C.
Dr. Chung was born in South Korea. At age 12, he moved to Kenya, where his parents served as missionaries.
After graduating from high school, he attended the University at Buffalo and earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from New York Chiropractic College. Upon graduation, he received additional training and certification in Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP).
Dr. Chung opened ABLE Chiropractic in March of 2019 after time spent practicing in a Schenectady clinic. He continues to learn and stay up to date on new spinal biomechanics techniques. His passion lies in educating the community on the importance of spinal health. As of 2021, he is one of just two CBP Certified chiropractors in the Capital District.
Since 2016, Dr. Chung has been serving as a combat medic in US Army Reserves. On Sundays, you might bump into him at Life Church with his wife and three boys.
Becky grew up on her family farm in Mayfield and enjoyed playing on volleyball, basketball, and track and field sports teams until she graduated high school. She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with an associate's degree in Social Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Technology.
Prior to coming to ABLE Chiropractic in 2019, she taught English as a second language for three years in South Korea through the Fulbright program.
From her own experiences living with scoliosis, Becky is passionate about sharing the hope-giving power of corrective chiropractic with more people.
She enjoys getting to know patients and witnessing their transformation into a healthier and pain-free life through coming to ABLE.
Coral grew up in Albany, NY, where she attended Albany High School and enjoyed playing soccer and being on the school's Robotics Team. Coral graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
After graduation, Coral and her partner bought a house in Schenectady, NY. Outside of work, Coral enjoys reading, walking her dog, and hiking with friends.
Coral enjoys meeting new patients and hearing their stories about how chiropractic has improved their lives. Coral will be attending Northeast College of Health Sciences in the fall of 2022 to obtain her own Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
